It is with a heavy heart that Pauline’s family share the news of her unexpected death on Monday, 16th. March 2026, completing her life’s journey in Galway where she lived and worked for over 30 years. Pauline is deeply mourned by her heartbroken husband Padraic, son Andrew, daughters Jennifer and Hilary, by her siblings Hilary Galvin, Maire Piggott and Robert, her God children Hazel, Peter, Ally and Nicholas, many nieces and nephews, the extended Marren and Regan family, friends, colleagues at G.U.H. and neighbours. Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Martina and Robert.

Funeral Arrangements:
Friday, March 20th, 2026:
Pauline will lie in repose at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91 V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Saturday, March 21st, 2026

Removal from her home to arrive for Requiem Mass at St.Joseph's Church, Presentation Road (H91 YA30) at 10 a.m.

Pauline will be received at the Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo at 1.45 p.m. approximately.

Final Committal Prayers will take place in the Church, after which she will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Kilglass, Enniscrone

Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Street parking may be available on Fr.Griffin Road, within the Claddagh, on Henry Street and Sea Road. Road works continue within the city, with road diversions in place.

Car Parks within walking distance of the parlour: The Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
