Pauric died peacefully in the presence of his family on June 24th in University Hospital Galway, under the care of the staff of St. Patrick's Ward. Pre-deceased by his wife Aggie, his sisters Una and Teresa , his brothers Sean, Gerard and Brendan. Deeply regretted by his loving family Seán (Barna), Pius (Corofin, Clare), Marie (Carna), Teresa (Galway), Noel (Spain), Paul (Malahide) and Anthony (Inverin), his sisters Mary (Dublin), Nuala (Dungarvan), Margaret (Los Angeles) and brother Tony (Letterkenny). He will be sadly missed by his 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews and nieces in the Murray and Mulkerrin families, the Holohan family, his friends in the church choir, his friends at the golf club, bridge and 25 card games and all his neighbours and friends in Portumna.

In keeping with current HSE, NPHET and public health guidelines, attendance at funerals is very limited. Please respect the safety and privacy of the family at this most difficult time. Private Requiem Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Pauric's soul on Monday, June 28th, at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, Portumna followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Portumna. For those who would like to attend the Mass but cannot in the current restrictions, it will be streamed live via "churchservices.tv/portumna". The funeral cortege will leave Pauric's home at Bridge Road, Portumna on Sunday, June 27th, for removal to St. Brigid's Church at 7 p.m.
Friends and neighbours who would like to line the route are invited to do so if they wish. Please maintain social distance and wear masks in adherence to public health guidelines. If you wish to leave a message of sympathy for the family you can do so on Pauric's online Condolence Book below. Family flowers only be request, donations, if desired, to The Asthma Society.
