Peg Twomey
(née Cremin)
Twomey (Banteer), On July 22nd, 2025, Peg (née Cremin), Derry, Banteer (formerly of Kanturk), passed away unexpectedly at home. Much loved wife of the recently deceased Donie and beloved mother of Niamh (Lane), Seán, Sarah and the late Noreen Margaret. Predeceased by her parents Tim and Sarah. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers Teddy, Billy and Denis, sister Hannah Mary (Foley), son-in-law Kieran, daughter-in-law Claire, Sarah’s partner Ted, her adored grandchildren Cara, Freya, Clodagh, Isla and Sadie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephew, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer on Thursday July 24th from 6:30p.m. followed by prayers at 8:00p.m. Reception into St Fursey’s Church, Banteer on Friday July 25th for Requiem Mass at 11:00am which can be viewed live at www.churchservices.tv/banteer. Burial afterwards in St Fursey’s Cemetery.
