BARRY (née Fitzgerald) Peggie. Ballylennon, Gort, Co. Galway. Late of The Forge, Caherconlish, Co. Limerick and The Cash Shop, Bridge Street, Gort. Peacefully on the 20th of March, 2025, in the tender care of the staff of University Hospital Galway.

Pre-deceased by her beloved parents, by her brothers Martin, Frank, Dick and Mick and nephew Donal.

Cherished and much loved, Peggie will be sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy, by her nephews Donal, Owen, Martin and Roger, nieces Liz, Mary, Maggie & Peggy and by her grandniece Molly. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Nellie and Mona, relatives, the extended Barry and Fitzgerald families, great neighbours and many friends.

Peggie will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Saturday evening, March 22nd from 5.30 pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Colman's Church Gort. Requiem Mass Sunday, March 23rd at 12 noon. Peggie will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colman’s cemetery, Gort. House Private please.
