Peggie Steele (née Smith) of Putland Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow, former PE Teacher & Stalwart of Bray Cove. April 22nd 2023 peacefully, at Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock in her 99th year. Predeceased by her parents Jack & Frances Smith, husband Chris Steele, siblings Jack, Billy, Eddie, Noel, Nuala, Gerard & Nora. Remembered with love by her loving family, sons Christian & Barry, daughters-in-law, Sinéad & Yvonne, grandchildren Cain, Naomi, Rebekah, Luke & their partners, great grandchildren Doireann, Sadhbh, Ruadh, Ella, Margot, sisters-in-law Mary (Mount Merrion), Helen (Greystones), Helen (Cork), nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday evening April 26th from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass at 10.30am Thursday morning April 27th in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Putland Road, Bray which can be viewed on the following LINK. after which Peggie will be laid to rest in the family grave in Deans Grange Cemetery.
