Peggy Furey, October 25th 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness bravely fought, in the gentle care of the Oak Ward, South East Palliative Care, University Hospital Waterford. Beloved wife of Seán (Castle Tavern) and much loved mother of Emma, Niamh, Danielle, Mark, Johnny and Sarah. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, adored grandchildren Molly and Laura, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Friday evening from 4pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am in the Cathedral of the Assumption. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
