PEGGY McCARTHY
(née Barrington)
McCARTHY, Ballincollig on March 11th, 2024, peacefully in the exceptional, tender, and loving care of the staff at Grange Con Nursing Home. PEGGY (née Barrington), the Crescent and formerly Main Street. Beloved wife of the late Danny and mother-in-law of the late Carmel. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, Gerardine (O’Mahony), Sean, Imelda (Edmonds), Brian, Evelyn (O’Hara), Vincent and Claire. Sons-in-law, Jerry and Liam, daughters-in-law Trisha, Jean and Lin, her adored and loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her cousins Gretta and Agnes, relatives, neighbours, and large circle of friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Wednesday from 5pm until 7pm for visitation. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon at the Church of St. Mary and St. John, Ballincollig.
