late of Templeboy, Sligo.
Peggy died on May 1st 2024, peacefully with her family, in the loving care of the staff at Tullamore Regional Hospital. She was a native of Templeboy, Co. Sligo and was predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald, parents Tom and Maggie Rushe, sister May, and brothers Jack and Jimmy.
Peggy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Annette (Mollen), Maggie (Gibbs), Conor, Caroline (Gibbs), Fergal and Enda, grandchildren, Emer, John, Orla, Kate, Daniel, Conor, Maeve, Harry, Jack, Ronán, Oisín, and Tomás, great-grandchildren, Callum, Bobby, Mollie, Billy, Danny, Freya, Phoebe, Cooper, Ciaran, and Grace, sons-in-law Paul, and David, daughters-in-law, Mary, Sinéad and Lucy, sister-in-law Joan Rushe, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Grant Peggy Eternal Rest and Peace
Peggy will repose at her home on Friday (May 3rd) from 3.30pm until removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (May 4th) at 10am, which may be viewed on http://www.ferbaneparish.ie. Interment afterwards in Kilrehan Cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. Donations instead, if desired, to Friends of Tullamore Hospital.
