The Death has occured of Peggy O'Brien, 85. Pairc Mhuire, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, and formerly of Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Peggy died on February 13th 2026 peacefully at her loving home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her parents Paddy and Eileen Dunne, her sisters Annie, Eileen and Stella, brother John, and sister-in-law Mai. Sadly missed by her children Mary, Helen, Margaret, Paddy and Jim, brothers Jim and Matt, sisters Mary and Cissie, her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Peggy's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Somers Funeral Home Bagenalstown (R21 DY66) on Sunday from 2.pm to 7.pm.
Removal on Monday Morning arriving at St. Andrew's Church Bagenalstown for Funeral Mass at 11.oc. Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption Bagenalstown.
