(née Thornton)
Peggy (Margaret) O’Brien, nee Thornton, Tinnakilly, Aughrim, Co. Wicklow, 1st July 2021. Peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Tim. Sadly missed by her children Tadgh, Jane, Breda, Mary and John, grandchildren Maeve, Stephen, Mikey, Timmy, Sarah Jane, Laura and Jennifer, sisters Bridie and Mary, brother Myles, daughters-in-law Mary and Joan, sons-in-law Mick and Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Peggy’s funeral cortège will leave the family home at 10.30am on Saturday, 3rd July, walking to the Sacred Heart Church, Aughrim, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the Macreddin Cemetery. People are welcome to line the route whilst adhering to social distancing. Covid restrictions on numbers and social distancing guidelines with masks will apply in the church and cemetery.
