Sweeny (née O’Donoghue), Peggy, 47 Ashbrook, Ennis Road, Limerick (Formerly of Rooska, Bantry, Co Cork) passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2024 in the loving care of the team in Ashford Nursing Home, Tivoli Road, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family.

Cherished wife of the late Peter Sweeny, adored mother of John-Paul, Deirdre, Andrew, Oonagh, Vaunnie and Padge and loving grandmother to her precious grandchildren Kate, Jenny, Kelvin, Bobby, Áine, Pete, Darragh, Annabelle, Louisa, Fionn, Nicole and Bláithín. Sadly and lovingly missed by her sons-in-law Kelvin, Joe and Mark and daughters-in-law Sharon, Kerstin and Orla, her extended relatives in Bantry and Dublin and her many friends in Limerick.

Reunited with Peter, may her beautiful gentle soul Rest in Peace.
