Penrose McHugh
(née Butler)

Portmarnock, Dublin

McHugh, Penrose (neé Butler), Tuesday, 7 th April, 2026 (Portmarnock), passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff and volunteers at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

 

Beloved wife of Michael, and loving mother of Sarah, Emma, David, Éadaoin, Sinéad and Cian. Predeceased by her daughter Sarah, parents John and Jean, and brothers Don, Patsy and Seán. Very sadly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, Sam and Leo, daughters-in-law Clare and Juliana, her siblings Mary, Stella and Oliver, her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Funeral service will take place on Saturday 11th April at 10am in the Glasnevin Chapel, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
