Peter Aherne

Peacefully, after a short illness in the wonderful care of the Doctors and Nurses of the ICU in St James’ Hospital. Adored brother of Anne, Geraldine and Brian. Greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Zoe, Kim, Garry, Jonathan and Karen, all his cousins and many friends. Peter will lie in repose in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Wednesday afternoon (January 1st) from 3 to 5pm. Removal on Thursday morning (January 2nd) to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Shanganagh cemetery.
