Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Friday, 27th March 2026.
Predeceased by his wife Valerie (née King), parents John and Dorothy Owen, and brother Roger (South Africa).
Beloved dad of Carolyn, Jane and Alan.
Peter will be deeply missed and remembered with love by his daughters, son, sons-in-law Pedro Gracia and David Bowman, Alan’s partner Dawn Mulroy, cherished grandchildren Yannick and Matilda, sister Valerie James (Bangor), sister-in-law Heather, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends, and by all his fellow sailors at Carlingford Marina.
Gone From Our Sight, But Sailing On
Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street [A91 Y3CX] on Sunday from 3pm to 7pm.
Funeral Service on Monday at 11 o’clock in St. Nicholas’ Parish Church, Church Street [A91 WP52], followed by private Cremation.
