Peter B. Sands
Sands, Peter B. Dromin Junction, Dunleer, Co. Louth. Former rate collector Louth County Council, Senator Fianna Fáil Seanad Éireann, COMNDT 8th Bn FCA, President Local Government and Public Service Trade Union, Senior Citizens Parliament, St. Kevin’s GAA and CIE, 17th October 2015. Peacefully in his 92nd year surrounded by his family at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee. Beloved husband of the late Una and dad of the late Oliver. Sadly missed by his children Vivian, Con, Kieran, Rita, Aine and Terence, sister Patricia, daughters in law Imelda, Elizabeth, and Bernice, sons in law Thomas and James, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the home of his daughter Aine Clare, Drumin, Grangebellew from 2pm until 7pm tomorrow, Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 11.30am, arriving to St. Finian’s Church, Dromin for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday morning.
