Peter (Bill) McCahey

The death has occurred of Peter (Bill) McCahey, Drumcrew, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, Sunday, August 30th, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary, brother Paddy and baby sister Sarah.

Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by his wife Mary, son Paul, daughters Lorraine, Maria and Louisa, grandchildren, sisters Mary and Josephine, brothers Liam, Terence and Seamus, son in law, daughter in law, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and loyal companions from The Concra Voucher Club.

In line with guidelines issued by The Government and The HSE, Peter’s wake, funeral and burial will be private.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday until removal on Wednesday morning at 11 am, (walking from The Faugh’s Football Field) arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for requiem Mass at 11.30am with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
