Peter Boland

Peter Boland, late of Ballyfermot and Kinnegad, passed away peacefully at St. James’ Hospital after a short illness on 30th of October 2020. Beloved husband of Margaret, father of Bernadette (pre-deceased 1978), Janet, Lily, Carol, Peter, Anthony, Linda, Joyce and Kim. Grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by all. A veteran of the Irish Defense Forces spending his years at Collins Barracks and McKee Barracks. In later years a very proud member of The Irish United Nations Veterans Association, and a regular visitor to Arbour Hill, where he will be greatly missed by all his army buddies and all that knew and loved him.

Due to the recent government guidelines on public gatherings, Peter’s funeral in the Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome will be held in private for close friends and family only.
