Peter Burns

Burns, John Peter, Glenaslat, Monivea, Athenry, County Galway and formerly of Ballyrobin, Kill, County Waterford. 20th December 2024, peacefully in the exceptional care of Galway Hospice with his family by his side.

Peter, predeceased by his parents Nellie and Billy, his brother Pat and his grandson Evan.

Sadly missed by his devoted wife Anne, his daughters Susan (Kelleher) and Karen (Treacy), his son Anthony, sons-in-law Neil and Michael, daughter-in-law Michelle, his adored grandchildren Liam, Abby, Conor, Ellen, Sarah, Patrick, Mason and Cobe, his sister Margaret, brother Joe, his aunt Kathleen, extended family, relatives and friends.

Peter will repose at The Church of Sacred Heart, Ryehill, Monivea (H65 YE18) on Monday evening the 23rd December from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7.00 p.m. to the adjoining Church. Requiem Mass on Tuesday the 24th December at 10.00 a.m., followed by a cremation service at Shannon Crematorium at 1.00 p.m. Internment of ashes to take place in Dunhill, County Waterford, at a later date.
