Peter Byrne

Peter Byrne, Crecrin, Tullow, Co. Carlow – 10th April 2026 passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family; predeceased by his parents, siblings Biddy, Nan, Mary, Monica, Pat, Jim, John and grandson Sam.

 

Sadly missed by his adored wife Florrie, son Peter, daughters Amanda, Janet and Eleanor, sons-in-law Harry, Donal and Mark, daughter-in-law Margaret and grandchildren Alannah, Lizzie, Píaras, Charlie, Ruth, Rachel, Catherine, Muireann, Peter Óg and Tom.

 

He will be greatly missed by his siblings Carmel and Peig, sisters and brother-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

May Peter’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Saturday from 3.30pm concluding at 6.30pm with removal from there at 7pm for private reposal.

 

Funeral arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Ballyconnell on Sunday for 2pm Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in Crecrin Cemetery.
