Peter Cassels

Peter Cassels, a resident of Irvington, New York and native of Kiltubrid, Co Leitrim, Ireland, passed away on May 5th, 2025 at the age 72.

 

Peter was the loving husband of Ann (nee Mulleney). He was the devoted father of Susan (Michael) Daly, Amanda Cassels & Martin (Jennifer) Cassels, Cherished grandfather of Jack, Juliette, Clara, PJ & Gavin . Dear brother of Phyllis (the late Willie), Lily (the late Frank), Vera (Seamus), Patsy, John (Teresa), Marion (Willie) and Pauline (Joe). Peter was the beloved uncle of Mary, Noel, Liam, Michelle, Emmett, Susan, Suzanne, Lillian,John, Barry, Damien, Jane, Raymond, Hugh, Rachel, Sarah, Patrick, Edward, Madeline, Oliver, Marie, Peter, Stephen and Pierce.

 

The family will be present on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home - 732 Yonkers Avenue - Yonkers, NY 10704 (914) 375-1400. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 10.45 am at St. Barnabas Church - E. 241st Street & Martha Avenue - Bronx, NY 10470. All services will conclude at the Church.

Months mind mass will be held in St Brigids Church, Drumcong in June (date to be confirmed)
