Peter Casserly

Retired from CIE, Ceannt Station where he worked for 48 years. On the 13th March, 2022 Peter passed away at An Teaghlach Uilinn Retirement and Convalescent Centre, Moycullen.  Predeceased by his wife Gertie (nee Hornibrook), parents Michael and Bridie and brothers Johnny, Michael and Mairtín. Dearly loved father of Rose, Phill, Veronica and Gina.  Peter is mourned and very sadly missed by his daughters together with sons-in-law Dave and Mark and by Veronica’s partner Senan, cherished grandchildren Aoife and Andy, sisters Mary Cribbin and Una Carty, brothers Eamonn and Pat,  their families, the extended Casserly and Hornibrook family and friends.

A ‘Walk-Through’ system for Reposing will take place  at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Thursday, 17th March, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  People are asked not to shake hands please.  Thank you. Arriving at St. Joseph’s  Church, Presentation Road on Friday, 18th March,  for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m.  Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery.
