Peter Dempsey, Mallfield, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of Connolly street Arklow, Co. Wicklow

Peter passed away on the 29th August 2025, Peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. Beloved husband of Bríd and much loved father of Róisín and Naoise. Peter will be dearly missed by his family, brother Ned, sisters Betty, Jean and Maureen, brothers and sisters-in-laws, nephews and nieces, his mother-in-law Kitty, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Peter is predeceased by his brother Jim, sister-in-law Doloras, and his parents, Christine and Edward Dempsey.

Reposing at Meyler Funeral Directors, The Quay, Thomastown (R95 E290) from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday 31st August. Requiem mass on Monday at 11am in the Church of the Assumption Thomastown. Cremation will take place on Tuesday 2nd September at 3pm in Shannon Crematorium, Shannon Co Clare.
