Peter Faulkner

After a short illness bravely borne, Peter passed away peacefully in Portiuncula Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 12th February 2025. Peter was a loving husband and best friend to his devoted wife Marian, son David, daughters Ann-Marie (Kelly), and Elaine (Hyde), daughter-in-law Melinda (O'Rourke), and sons-in-law Tommy, and Simon. Adoring grandfather to Cian, Shay, Sophie, Naomi, Fionn, Cara, Faye, Donnchadh, Lochlann, and Annie. Deeply regretted by his brothers Gerry, Kevin, Frank, and Alan and his sisters Dolores, and Melanie. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law and extended family, neighbours and friends and the beloved Kelly family whom Peter held so close to his heart.

Peter will repose at this home (H53 AD68) on Friday 14th from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral cortege will arrive to the Sacred Heart Church, Kilconnell (H53 YF97) on Saturday for funeral mass for Peter at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Killoran Cemetery (H53 Y677).

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Portiuncula who cared for Peter so well. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
