The death has occurred of
Peter Gerald Purcell
PURCELL (Cork & Killiney, Co. Dublin) on June 2nd , 2023, peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital, following a long illness, and in the presence of his loving family, PETER GERALD, Maryborough Woods, Douglas (late of Purcell Scaffolding Cork Ltd.) Beloved father of Simon and Amy & brother of Michael, Christine and the late Amy. Sadly missed by his loving children and their mother Susan, grandchildren Fiachra, Uma and Remi, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, daughter-in-law Ruth, Amy’s partner Matt, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.
Visitation on Tuesday (6th June) from 6:00pm at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge with prayers at 6:45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (7th June) at 12:00 noon at St. Columba’s Church, Douglas. Peter's mass will be live streamed on the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/douglas . Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Crosshaven.
