On January 03, 2025 Peter completed his life’s journey surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by his parents Bridget and William.
He will be mourned and sadly missed by his beloved wife Joanne, children Ciarán, David, Jonathan and Louisa, much loved sister Hilary and brothers Michael and John. Fondly remembered also by his daughters-in-law Julia, Trudi and Elaine, son-in-law Rory and cherished grandchildren Mark, Lauren, Nia, Gavin, Amalie, Ben, Cian, Nicholas, Skye, Steven, Annabel, Aidan and Amie.
Peter will Repose at his home on Monday 6 January on the Feast of the Epiphany, at 12 Cedarwood Close, Highfield Park from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for him on arrival on Tuesday, 7 January at St. Mary’s Church, The Claddagh at 11 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. Peter’s family would like to thank the kind Samaritans who helped Peter on Sea Road and all the medical staff who looked after Peter so thoughtfully at University College Hospital Galway.
