Peter died on January 4th 2026 peacefully with his family, in the loving care of the staff at South Westmeath Hospice, Athlone. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, James and Bridget, brother Tommy and sister Marie.

Peter will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Christina and family, Philip, Imelda, Sinéad and Darren, grandchildren, Chloe, Amy, Kyle, Jamie, Cassia, Maya and Evie, brothers, Seamus, Liam, Joe and Jack, sisters Bridie, Rose, Patricia and Teresa, daughter-in-law Antoinette, sons-in-law Alan and Cillian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Grant Peter Eternal Rest and Peace

Peter will repose at Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Tuesday (Jan. 6th) from 5pm to 7pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church car park)

Removal on Wednesday (Jan. 7th) to Ss. Patrick and Saran's Church, High Street where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am and Peter will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
