Peter Lyons

Peter Lyons, Mackenstown Meadow, Mayglass, Co. Wexford, and formerly of Ballynonty, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the palliative care of Waterford University Hospital on 9th April 2026. Predeceased by his father Jerry.

Beloved husband of Mary, and much loved and adored father of Cormac and Oisín. Sadly missed by his loving mother Mab, mother-in-law Lil (Dolan), brothers Michael and Jeremy, sisters Caroline (Savage) and Geraldine (Minogue), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence (Y35 PR62) on Saturday evening from 4pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Sunday to St. Fintan’s Church, Mayglass, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm, with burial afterwards in Mayglass cemetery.

House private on Sunday morning please.
