Peter Maguire

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Maguire (Blacklion, Cavan/London) on 12th July 2024 at Homerton Hospital, London, surrounded by his loving family.

A devoted husband to Anne and a revered father to Wayne, Ciaran, Sean, Siobhan, Neil and Daniel. An adored grandfather to Callum, Isla, Luke, Jake, Louis and Elsie and a cherished brother to Bridie, Packie, Brian and the late Michael and Jimmy. A treasured father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to so many. His love and dedication to his family were unwavering, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, 9th August, at 12pm (noon) at St Ignatius Catholic Church, London, N15 6ND followed by committal at the Islington Crematorium Chapel, London, N2 9AG at 2pm.

The Maguire family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have offered their love and support during this difficult time. We would like to invite you to join us to share stories and celebrate Peter’s immeasurable contribution to our lives from 3pm at the Crouch End Cricket Club, London, Shepherd’s Lane, London, N8 8JJ.
