Peter McCarron

We are saddened to announce the death of Peter McCarron, Dernashallog, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Monday 9th February, 2026, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents Mick & Mary.

 

Peter will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mardie, daughter Nora (Paul), sons Philip (Lenor), Adrian (Michelle) & Ronan, grandchildren Olivia, David, Molly & Hannah, his sisters Kathleen (TP), Margaret & Bridget, brothers Pat (Bridie), Brian (Margaret), Michael (Geraldine) & Seamus (Jacqui), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Peter's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

 

Peter's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Tuesday from 4pm - 8pm.

 

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am at St.Patrick's Church, Corracrin. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to 'Friends of Cavan Oncology' c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
