The death has occurred of
Peter McDonald
McDonald, (Drumcondra, Dublin 9) Peter, beloved husband of the late Margaret (née Downes), who proudly represented Ireland at the 1948 Olympic Games in London, passed away peacefully, aged 98 years, in the wonderful care of Highfield Healthcare Nursing Home on Tuesday 29th March 2022.
Peter is sadly missed by his older sister Maureen, sons & daughter Robert, Maeve & Patrick, daughter-in-law Maria, granddaughter Belinda, great-granddaughter Oliva, nephews Joseph, Declan and Kenneth, niece Catherine and his many friends.

Reposing in the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday (31st March) from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11am in Church of the Visitation, Fairview. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium.
