Peter McKenna

Peter McKenna, Matson Lodge, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Beechgrove. 19th December 2025. Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Sunhill Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness borne with great courage.

Beloved husband of Margaret and loving Dad to Maria, Martin, Thomas and Neil. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Marion, sister Carmel and brothers Fintan and Bernard.

Peter will be sadly missed by his wife and children, son-in-law Alan, daughters-in-law Fidelma and Sheelagh and partner Alice, his adored grandchildren Sarah, Megan and Kevin; Lucy and Matthew; Emily and Eoghan, sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Monday evening from 4pm – 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12.00 noon in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, which can be viewed live on www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie.

Burial afterwards in Newtown Cross Lawn Cemetery. Family flowers only.
