Peter O’Connell
Greenwood Drive, Red Barns Road, Dundalk.
Passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of St. Oliver Plunkett Hospital on Monday, 6th October 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, brothers Eddie and Billy (in Infancy).
Beloved and dear husband of Kathleen (née Connolly) and loving father of Paul, Alan, Niall, Karen, Peter, and Shane.
Peter will be forever loved and deeply missed by his heart broken wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law William Traynor, daughters-in-law Breda, Kim, Sarah and Niamh, Grace’s mam Amy, cherished grandchildren Grace, Aoife, Luke, Ruairí, Lauren, Sam, Hannah, Adam, James, Seán, Kate, Darragh, Tom and Ellen, brother Patsy, sisters Anne Dullaghan, Marie Gorham and Geraldine Watters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, and all his wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, Greenwood Drive [A91T8P3] on Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 8pm.
Removal on Friday afternoon at 12.30pm, proceeding on foot to the entrance of Greenwood Drive, then driving to St. Patrick’s Cathedral [A91T623] arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock.
Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
House Private Friday.
