Peter O'CONNOR

Peter O’Connor of 21 New Oak Estate and 7 The Plots, Rathnapish, Carlow, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on November 28th 2025, under the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Arthersrath Nursing Home, Kilkenny

 

Beloved husband of the late Joan, much loved father of Christine, Denise, Ellen, Ashling and Peter, adored grandfather of Debbie, Tracey, Amanda, Megan, Dylan, Casey, Mia, Hallie, Lillie, Corey and the late Kelsey and Jake, cherished brother of Patsy, Margaret, Mary, Kathleen, Billy and the late John and treasured son of the late John and Kathleen.

 

He will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Caleb, Ava, Keeva, Aalayah, Conor and Jamie, daughter-in-law Lisa, sons-in-law Pat and Dinny, Denise’s partner Enda, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May Peter’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) Carlow from 2pm on Sunday, November 30th, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow followed by burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow
