Peter O'Dowd

The death has taken place of Peter O'Dowd, Shankill, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny. Peter passed away at St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny following a long illness bravely borne. Son of the late Paddy (O.S) and the late Catherine (Bona), brother of John, Jimmy and Felim, brother-in-law of Carol and Ruth, uncle of Patrick, Sinèad, Rachel, Alice, Niamh, Clodagh and the late Susanna. Deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters-in-law, nephew, nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Peter's remains will be reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow (Eircode R21 DY66) on Thursday, 7th September, from 5.pm to 8.pm. Peter's requiem Mass will take place on Friday, 8th September, at 11.oc in the Church of the Assumption, Paulstown. Burial afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery, Paulstown.
