Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, in his 95th year.
Last surviving member of the Shiel family of Bunnamuca, Strokestown.
Pete will be sadly missed by his adoring children, Seamus, Mary, Coman, Margaret, Martina, Peadar, Eibhlín, Ronan & Ciaran, his eighteen grandchildren, Katie, Sinéad, Maeve, Siobhán, Brian, Niamh, Aoife, Kevin, Aidan, Fiona, Amy, Cathal, Mai, Ciara, Caitlin, Grace, Sam & Ellen Rose, his four great-grandchildren, Donagh, Róise, Tessa & Lily, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Pete is reunited with his loving wife Eileen, son Brendan & infant daughter Anne.

Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown (F42 RK72), on Monday, April 13th, from 5pm until 8pm. Removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, on Tuesday, April 14th, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery.

The Shiel family would like to thank the palliative care team for the care shown to Pete and the entire Shiel family in Pete's final days.
