Peter Smyth, Main Street, Lanesboro, Co. Longford (ex Bord na Mona) passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the care of the staff of the Midland's Regional Hospital Mullingar on Thursday 29th February 2024. Predeceased by his parents Pat & Nellie and his brother John. Sadly missed by his family, uncle Johnny (Weekfield, Roscommon) brothers Hughie & Patrick, sisters Eithne (Clyne) & Caroline (Ginty), brothers in law, sister in law, his nephews Ciaran & Rory (Australia), nephew Francis and niece Elizabeth, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Farrell's Funeral Home, Lanesboro (N39 E761) on Sunday, 3rd March 2024, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass Monday, 4th March 2024, in St Mary's Church, Lanesboro at 12 noon, burial afterwards in Clonbonny Cemetery.
