Peter Taaffe

The death has occurred of Peter Taaffe, aged 70 years, Gunstown, Collon, suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Peter, beloved husband of Patricia (née Leavy). Sadly missed by his wife, sister Noeleen (Byrne), brothers Declan and Ollie, sisters-in-law Ann, Margaret and Sinead, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

A private family funeral for Peter will take place, with numbers limited to 10 in the church and the cemetery. There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Peter by being present, socially distanced, at 11.30am on Saturday, Saint Stephen's Day, on route from his home to Saint Brigid's Church, Dunleer for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery. Peter's funeral Mass can be viewed live at at www.dunleerparish.ie
