Peter Thompson

Peter passed away peacefully on 24th March 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff of the Shannon Suite of Galway University Hospital.

Peter will be greatly missed and always loved and remembered by his heartbroken parents Bridie (Fallon) and Tommy.

He will be deeply mourned by his aunts and uncles, cousins, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Peter will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, Barrack Street, Loughrea (H62 DV76) on Thursday 27th March from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Church of the Nativity, Kilchreest.

Requiem Mass for Peter will be celebrated at 12noon on Friday 28th March with burial taking place after Mass in the new cemetery Kilchreest.

Peter's family are extremely grateful to all of the staff in Unit 7 of Merlin Park, Galway who looked after Peter for many years as he attended regularly for dialysis.
