Peter Thursfield

Thursfield, Peter (formerly of The Irish Times, late of Rathmines Road, previously South Shields, England), 14 December 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St James’ Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Rosie and devoted Dad to the three daughters they shared: Katie, Sarah and Charlotte. Peter will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, brother Tony, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

We’ll be guided by him, always.

Reposing at his home on Sunday from 4pm-6pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (18 December) at 11am in Terenure College Chapel followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross, arriving at approximately 1pm.
