Peter (Tony) Maguire

A Requiem Mass of Thanksgiving for the life of Peter (Tony) Maguire will be held at Saint Rita's Catholic Church, Victoria Point, Queensland, Australia on Thursday 25 September 2025 at 11.30am.

Peter (aged 80) died in the QE2 Hospital, Coopers Plains, following a long illness. He is sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Lucy, his children Emer Lyons, Conor Maguire, Ashlea Downie, and Desmond Maguire; their spouses, 13 grandchildren and the extended Maguire and Cantwell families in Ireland, Scotland and Oman. He is also missed by the communities of St. Rita's Victoria Point, St Michaels, Baulkham Hills NSW and Yarrabee Aged Care, Redland Bay, Australia.
