Peter Walsh

In loving memory of Peter Walsh, Ross Demesne, Rosscahill, Co. Galway, who died on the 1st of October 2021, and will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Helen, his adored children daughter Marie, sons Martin, Kevin, Peter, and Cathal, sisters Kathleen and Margie, his son in law Johnny, daughters in law Ingrid and Carol, his grandchildren Shane, Mark, Peter, Sinead, Killian, Ethan, Darren, Damien, Lisa, and Niall, great grandchildren Jack, Aaron, Robyn, Ailbhe, and Molly, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The gentlest soul and most loving heart will be irreplaceable to his family. R.I.P

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me",
with tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away,
 and although we love you dearly we could not make you stay. 
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, 
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.

Reposing at his home on Sunday the 3rd of October for family and close friends from 4 o’clock to 7 o’clock. Peter’s funeral cortege will leave his home on Monday the 4th of October to arrive at Killannin Church for requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. 

The family have requested that anyone attending the funeral does so in accordance with the HSE’s Covid-19 guidelines. Killannin Church now has 50% capacity, allowing up to 150 people wearing facemasks to attend.
