Phil Cronin

CRONIN (Bishopstown, Cork): After a brief illness, Phil died on Thursday 24 April, after 88 years of an active and fulfilled life - late of Bord Gáis, Cork Corporation and Tipperary South Riding County Council (and Cork Salmon Anglers Association). Beloved husband and best friend of Nora (née Reynolds), father of Deirdre, Padraig and the late Niamh, father-in-law of David, adored grandfather of Ruby, Lucy and Keelin, brother of Ita, Brigid, Anne and David, brother-in-law of Pauline, Anne, Karen, Margaret, Neilus, Seán, John-Michael and the late John, George and Martin.

 

Deeply regretted by his wife and family, his nieces, nephews, relatives and by his many friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Sunday (April 27th) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Monday (April 28th) in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road.

 

Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
