Phil Kent
(née Murphy)

Phil passed away peacefully on the 22nd of July, 2024, after a short illness, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Clare's Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Kathleen Murphy, her sister Ann, her nephew Mark (Pepe) and more recently her son-in-law Peter. Phil will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her loving family, devoted husband Jim, daughters Maria Glynn (Ahascragh), Sandra Hughes (Mackney) and Audrey Tighe (Loughrea), son James (Headford), grandchildren Shane, Christopher, Rachel, Amy, Daniel and Aaron, Christopher's partner Laura, sons-in-law Enda and Padraic, daughter-in-law Lorraine, sister Molly, brother Martin, , brother-in-law Bill, sisters-in-law Liza and Brenda, nephews, nieces, extended family and her wonderful friends and neighbours.

Phil will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Wednesday, the 24th of July, from 5pm to 7pm, with removal afterwards to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe. Phil's Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery. Phil's Requiem Mass can be viewed via live stream on https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
