Phila slipped away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, 11 February in the care of the Brampton and her family. Devoted to and dearly loved mother of Gerry, Val and Mary. Predeceased by her much-loved husband Anthony and by her parents Thomas and Kate and by her ten siblings, Jim, Donal and Jack, Agnes, Sr. Mai, Missie, Kathleen, Birdie, Theresa and Ann and most recently by her sister-in-law Mai. Deeply mourned by her sons and daughter, daughter-in-law Rose and the proudest granny of Morgan, Stephen and Michael. Sadly missed also by her brother-in-law Phonsie, many nephews and nieces, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91V1K8) on Ash Wednesday evening, 14 February, from 5 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Phila on Thursday, 15 February, at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest with Anthony in Rahoon Cemetery. House private.
