Philip Matthews

The death has occurred of Philip Matthews, DeValera Park, Drumconrath, Co. Meath, peacefully and surrounded by his family at home, 6th October 2021. Predeceased by his father Thomas and his mother Anne.  Deeply regretted by his wife Marie, daughters Annemarie, Kelly and Michelle, sons Paul and Philip, brothers James, Val, Pat and Noel, sisters Mary, Bernie, Nuala and Maggie. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law Seán & Alan, daughters-in-law Aine & Geraldine, sister-in-law Nancy, his beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, on Thursday, 7th October, from 4pm to 9pm for family and close friends.
Philip's funeral cortège will travel on Friday morning at 10.30 am from Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt for his Funeral Mass in St Peter & Paul’s Church, Drumconrath at 11.00 am. (Church will have a maximum of 50% capacity) with burial afterwards in Drumconrath Cemetery. There will be an opportunity for people to show their respects to Philip’s family by filing past them in the cemetery on Friday.
