Philip O’Connor

On December 15th 2025, in the excellent care of the Mercy Hospital Cork, the death has occurred of Philip O’ Connor of Mount Alvernia Hospital Mallow and formerly of Gurrane West, Dromagh, Co. Cork.

Predeceased by his loving parents Mary and Timothy O’Connor, brother John and sister in law Eilish.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Ted (Gurrane), Denis (Castlelyons), sister Margaret (Dublin), sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The family wish to acknowledge and thank all the staff of Mount Alvernia for the tender care shown to Philip , it was greatly appreciated.

Reposing at The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Derrinagree, on Wednesday 17th December 2025, from 6pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 18th December 2025 at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Millstreet.
