The death has occurred of Philo Murphy (née Heaney), Cloughalahard, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway and formerly Lavally House, Clarinbridge. Peacefully at home surrounded by her family and following a long illness. Predeceased by her husband Richard, her baby daughter Olive and her sisters Helena and Theresa.

A loving and beloved mother and grandmother, Philo will be deeply missed by her sons and daughters, Marina, Catherine, Barry, Richard, Eleanor and Tom, by her grandchildren Sorcha, Emma, Tomás, Tara, Caoimhe, Luke, Radha, Sadhbh, Éireann, JJ, Gabby and Christian, her sons-in-law Rory, John and Jon, daughters-in-law Kelly, Grainne and Priscilla, sisters Breege, Margaret, Imelda and Catherine, brothers Michael and James, sisters-in-law Noreen and Gretta, brothers-in-law Bill and Pat, her nieces, nephews, her friends and neighbours and her devoted dog Honey.

HER QUITE REFINED STYLE, HER WIT AND HER SHEER STRENGTH AND DETERMINATION WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US.

Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91HW58) this Friday, the 24th of November from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her home on Saturday, the 25th of November to Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge for Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in local cemetery. Funeral Mass will be broadcast on local radio 106.2FM and can be viewed on parish website http://clarinbridgeparish.ie
