Philomena (Lily) King
(née Emery)
Lily passed away peacefully in her 97th year on Friday 16th August 2024 in the loving care of Greenpark Nursing Home, Tuam. Predeceased by her husband Martin (Mattie), parents George and Mary Ellen, sister Sheila (UK), brother Tommie (USA) and her son-in-law John (Spain).
Lily will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Eve (Spain) and Jacky (San Francisco) and cherished grandchildren Ross, Seán, Laura, Alice and Anna, great-grandchildren Jacob, Jasmine, Isabelle, Freya, Jack, Benny and Lily, niece Ann, extended family, neighbours and her many close friends.
Lily will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Wednesday evening from 6.00 o’c. Removal at 7 o’c to the Cathedral of the Assumption. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 2.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Killererin.
