Philomena (Phil) Rigney nee Gohery, Coolfin, Banagher, Co. Offaly and formerly of Guranne, Tynagh, Co. Galway. Phil died peacefully on 23rd November 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her loving husband Hubert, her parents Christopher and Elizabeth, brothers John Joe and Patrick and son-in-law Peter. Deeply regretted and forever remembered by her loving daughters and sons Mary, Agnes, Liz, Anne, Leo, Kieran, Hubert and Michael, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, brother Mick, sisters Ena, Celia, Bridget & Elizabeth, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home Coolfin, Banagher, Co. Offaly (R42 FY80) on Saturday 25th and Sunday, 26th of November 2023, from 4pm to 8pm both evenings. House private at all other times. Removal on Monday, 27th November 2023, from her home to St. Rynagh’s Church, Banagher, Co. Offaly (R42 N9K6) for funeral mass at 1.30pm and burial afterwards in St. Rynagh’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Offaly Down Syndrome or Palliative Care Laois/Offaly.
