Poynton, Philomena (née McEntee) Carlanstown, Kells and formerly of Jamestown Road, Finglas. 13th January 2026, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her husband Albert. Philomena will be sadly missed by her children Ann, Paul, Joan and Bernadette, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Claire and Tina, sons-in-law Pat, Paul and Mark, daughter-in-law Patricia, brother-in-law Francis, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at McEntee's Funeral Home, Kells (A82 K0D7) on Wednesday afternooon from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.20 arriving at Church of the Nativity, Kilbeg for funeral mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Kilbeg Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society.
